clr file

The clr - centered log ratio - is the log2 of the value divided by the geometric mean of the values across all OTUs for each sample. Consider this simple example:

The shared file:

label    Group    numOtus    Otu1    Otu2    Otu3  Otu4
0.03    sample1    4      10    5    3    1

results in a clr file as follows:

label    Group    numOtus    Otu1    Otu2    Otu3  Otu4
0.03    sample1  4    1.5147234    0.5147234    -0.2222422    -1.8072047
